About the Artist

I’m Aureja Raudone - a Lithuanian oil painter drawn to atmosphere, emotion, and the quiet beauty of the natural world.

My creative path began in childhood, studying at an art school while later pursuing a degree in economics. Years passed - I became a mother, built a photography practice, and lived many lives. But it was painting that called me back - this time with clarity, devotion, and oil paints in hand.

Today, I live and work in Kulautuva, a forest-lined town near Kaunas, Lithuania. Nature here is more than a subject - it is the space I return to, the rhythm beneath my work. My paintings are grounded in stillness, light, and mood. I don’t paint places; I paint presence - moments suspended between breath and memory.

Each work is created slowly and with care, on linen, using traditional oil techniques. They are meditations as much as they are landscapes - quiet reflections shaped in the soft hours between raising three children and walking beneath pine trees.

Whether you are a fellow creative, a collector, or simply passing through, I’m glad you’re here. I hope my work offers you the same sense of pause and grounding it offers me in the act of creating it.
